On Monday, Slovakia's Prime Minister Robert Fico, accompanied by Economy Minister Lubomir Jahnatek, arrived in South Korea for an official visit. His visit began with an excursion to one of the biggest Korean companies -- Kumho Asiana, which employs more than 30,000 people in the chemical and construction industries, tire production and aviation, announced the prime minister's spokeswoman Silvia Glendova. Slovakia's prime minister presented Slovakia as an attractive destination for foreign investment with high added value and reported on strategic objectives of the government in the areas of infrastructure construction, tourism development and airfreight, added Ms. Glendova.
Prime Minister Fico then opened an exhibition by Slovak artist Stanislav Harangozo. On Tuesday, the prime minister is to meet with the President of South Korea and the speaker of parliament. He is also to attend a meeting with Korean entrepreneurs and lay wreaths at the National Cemetery in Seoul.
